Cardinals to Host NFL Flag Football Championship

Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club will host the Arizona Cardinals NFL Flag Football Championships presented by the University of Phoenix and Toyota, at the team's training facility (8701 S. Hardy Drive, Tempe, 85284) on Saturday, June 16.

The five-on-five tournament is open to all children ages seven through 14 who are currently registered in an NFL flag Spring League for 2007. The event will also include children participating in the International Hispanic Games, in partnership with the Arizona-Mexico Commission.

Registration for the event will be available on-sight until 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and costs $165 per youth with each team guaranteed to play three games.

The Arizona-Mexico Commission is a group whose mission is to improve the economic well being and quality of life for residents of Arizona by promoting a strong and cooperative relationship with Mexico and Latin America.

Top finishers in each division will be awarded free entry into the Phoenix competition to be held June 22-24, 2007 as part of the Grand Canyon State Games. Entry materials for the Phoenix competition are available at all Fulton Homes Communities, APS locations, Bashas' stores, Paddock Pool, Sleep America stores and Keller Williams Realty locations statewide.
