Will Kyler Murray start Monday in Dallas? It seems likely, but enough mystery remains.

Coach Jonathan Gannon hasn't announced that Murray -- who has missed the last two games with a foot injury -- will start against the Cowboys. But asked on Thursday if the Cardinals were preparing Murray to start, the coach acknowledged it with a succinct "yeah."

Murray had been scheduled to meet with the media on Thursday, but it was announced after practice that a "quarterback" would be available later in the week. This is the third straight game week the quarterback session has been bumped from its usual time. Both previous times Jacoby Brissett spoke in the locker room on Friday -- which, given the Monday game this week, would be after Saturday's practice this time around.

Murray was officially limited in Thursday's practice.

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was asked if he knew who was starting. "I don't know either," Harrison said, with a wide smile.

Harrison noted that Murray's running ability is unique, and his passing acumen is also excellent. "If he plays, he brings that to the table."

Murray, who is from the Dallas area, has won all eight games he has started in his football life at AT&T Stadium: five in high school, one in college, and two with the Cardinals. In his two games since coming to the NFL, Murray has completed 35 of 62 passes for 451 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions against the Cowboys in Texas. He also has 118 yards rushing and a score on 19 attempts.

PRACTICE SQUAD MOVES

The Cardinals also signed former Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Brooks and one-time Arizona State tight end Messiah Swinson to the practice squad. Cornerback Jaden Davis was released from the practice squad.
