Cardinals Bring Back Cap Capi

Sign defensive end, waive DE Bryson Albright

The Cardinals signed defensive end Cap Capi Thursday.
The Cardinals signed defensive end Cap Capi Thursday.

Cap Capi is coming back.

The defensive end – whose real first name is Nordly – didn't make the Cardinals' roster in 2017 after flashing in the preseason, but he'll have another chance after signing a one-year deal Thursday.

To make room on the roster, the Cardinals waived/injured defensive end Bryson Albright.

Capi had a solid preseason last year for the Cards, putting up a couple of tackles for loss and a blocked punt against the Broncos. He was still released in final cuts.

Capi ended up playing last season with both the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills, working in four games with each team and totaling one sack.

The Cardinals, who had been off Wednesday, resumed practice Thursday afternoon.
