Coach Search Update As Anthony Campanile Stays Put With Jaguars

As Cardinals proceed with interviews, Jacksonville announces retention of coordinators

The Cardinals had yet to pick a coach by early Tuesday evening, but they did have one less candidate.

The Jaguars announced that both of their coordinators who had been in head coaching interviews -- including Anthony Campanile, who had a second interview with the Cardinals -- would be staying in Jacksonville in 2026.

It has been reported the Cardinals have had second interviews with Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur and Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.

Multiple reports also came out that the Cardinals at some point had interviewed former Carolina and Washington head coach Ron Rivera in person.

The Bills filled their coaching vacancy on Tuesday by promoting offensive coordinator Joe Brady. That leaves the Cardinals, Raiders and Browns with the teams left to name a head coach.
