Biography

NoteCARDS:

  • Selected by the Cardinals in the third round (98th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. Williams became the first Grambling State player selected in the draft since 2006 when Dallas took DE Jason Hatcher in the third round (92nd overall).
  • In earning FCS All-American honors as a senior in 2016, hit the SWAC Triple Crown in receiving by leading all conference players in receptions (90), yards (1,337) and TDs (11).

Pro Career:

The Cardinals third round selection (98th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft, Williams appeared in six games (one start) as a rookie last season.

2017: Played six games (one start) and had three receptions for 31 yards and two carries for 33 yards … saw action on special teams and offense, securing a 15-yard reception in his NFL debut @ Ind (9/17) … had an eight-yard catch on Arizona’s fourth quarter scoring drive vs. Dal (9/25) … posted a 33-yard run to the Arizona 48-yard line to open a Cardinals fourth-quarter scoring drive (Phil Dawson 32-yard FG) vs. Ten (12/10).
