Biography

NoteCARDS:

  • Selected by the Cardinals in the fourth round (134th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Fordham. Became just the second Fordham player selected in the NFL Draft in the last 50 years (1969-2018) joining Cardinals 2010 fifth round pick (155th overall) QB John Skelton.
  • Appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals as a rookie in 2018, rushing for 208 yards and a pair of TDs on 60 attempts.
  • One of four Cardinals rookies to appear in 16 games in ’18 (OL Mason Cole, LB Dennis Gardeck and LB Ezekiel Turner).
  • One of the most accomplished players in Patriot League and NCAA FCS history, was a three-time consensus All-American (2014-16) who closed out his career as the Patriot League all-time leading rusher and graduated as the Patriot League all-time leader in career TDs (74) and rushing TDs (67).
  • Hails from Harrisburg, PA, the same hometown as Cardinal GM Steve Keim. Edmonds was the MVP of the 2014 Big-33 All-Star game for Pennsylvania’s best high school players. Keim played in that game in 1991.
