Biography

NoteCARDS

  • Selected by the Cardinals in the fourth round (134th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Fordham. Became just the second Fordham player in 50 years (1969-2018) selected in the NFL Draft, joining Cardinals 2010 fifth round pick (155th overall) John Skelton.
  • Helped the Cardinals finish the 2019 season with the NFL's #10 ranked rushing attack (124.4 ypg) while establishing a team-record by averaging 5.03 yards per rush attempt. 
  • In the Cardinals Week 7 victory at the NY Giants in 2019, rushed for 126 yards and three TDs on 27 carries. His three TDs runs covered 20, 20 and 22 yards as he became just the sixth player in NFL history with at least three rushing TDs of 20+ yards in a game. 
  • One of the most accomplished players in Patriot League and NCAA FCS history, was a three-time consensus All-American (2014-16) who closed out his career as the Patriot League all-time leading rusher and graduated as the Patriot League all-time leader in career TDs (74) and rushing TDs (67).
  • Hails from Harrisburg, PA, the same hometown as Cardinal GM Steve Keim. Edmonds was the MVP of the 2014 Big-33 All-Star game for Pennsylvania's best high school players. Keim played in that game in 1991.
