Played football at Downey (CA) High School (2014-15) and La Serna (Whittier, CA) High School (2012-13) … earned All-CIF Southern Section, All-San Gabriel Valley League and Long Beach Press-Telegram All-Area Dream Team honors after intercepting five passes and averaging 20.2 yards per catch as a senior for the Vikings … garnered All-CIF and All-League accolades after recording 57 tackles and one INT as a junior in 2014 … also caught 22 passes for 450 yards and four TDs … received All-San Gabriel Valley League honorable mention and helped LSHS to a 11-3 record and a CIF Championship as a sophomore in 2013.
