  • A consensus first-team All-American and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, Weaver posted a school-record 182 tackles as a senior in 2019. Led the nation at the FBS level in total tackles and solo tackles last season.
  • Played at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe and Chase Field in Phoenix (2018 Cheez-It Bowl) during his college career. Now with the Cardinals, he will add State Farm Stadium to that list.


Played in 49 of 50 possible games in four seasons at Cal, including 31 starts … started the final 26 games of his college career … posted career totals of 412 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two INTs (one returned for a TD), 13 passes defended, three forced fumbles and six QB hurries … finished fourth on Cal's all-time list for career tackles … a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection and 2019 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year … had a career-long streak of 12 straight contests with double-digit tackles that included the final seven games of his junior season and first five contests of his senior campaign … led or co-led Cal in tackles 24 times during his career, including 12 times as a senior, 11 occasions as a junior as well as once as a sophomore in 2017 … one of only three FBS players since 2000 to have three career games of 20+ tackles … the only Pac-12 player since 2000 with multiple career games of 20+ tackles.
