Biography

NoteCARDS:

  • Philadelphia's third-round selection (84th overall) in the 2015 NFL Draft, Hicks played four seasons with the Eagles before signing a four-year contract with the Cardinals as a free agent on 3/15/19.
  • Played 59 games (56 starts) for the Eagles (2015-18) and Cardinals (2019), totaling 411 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 10 INTs (one returned for a TD), 25 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.
  • Recorded 10 INTs in his first five NFL seasons. Dating back to his rookie season in 2015, his 10 INTs lead all active NFL linebackers. 
  • Enjoyed a breakout 2019 campaign with a career-high 150 tackles (third in the NFL), 1.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, three INTs, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, according to league stats.
  • Posted nine performances with 10+ tackles, tied with Bobby Wagner for the NFL's most, and became the first Cardinals defender since at least 1999 to record 10+ tackles in each of the first four games of a season in 2019, according to league stats.
