NoteCARDS:

  • Selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round (217th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft and spent his first four seasons (2019-22) with the Vikings. Signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on 4/10/23.
  • Played in 58 games (six starts) with the Vikings and had 66 tackles (52 solo), three passes defensed and a forced fumble on defense while adding 29 special teams tackles, four fumble recoveries and a forced fumble on special teams in the regular season. Also played in three postseason contests with the Vikings, adding a fumble recovery.
  • Has five career fumble recoveries (regular season and postseason), all of which have come on special teams.
  • Brother, Demarco, played linebacker at Texas and his cousin, Curtis Brown, was an All-Big 12 defensive back for the Longhorns who played three seasons (2011-13) with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Another cousin is Bobby Taylor, who played 10 seasons (1999-04) in the NFL with the Eagles and Seahawks and earned Pro Bowl honors as a cornerback with the Eagles in 2002.
  • Current teammate with the Cardinals is LB Blake Lynch. The duo starred together at Gilmer (TX) High School as seniors in 2014. That season they led Gilmer to a 16-0 record and a 4A Division 2 state title. After both attended college in the state of Texas, they were teammates in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings from 2020-22.
