Last name is pronounced "HEM-bro" … attended Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill) where he played football and lacrosse … his father, Jeff Hembrough, played football at Illinois State and was inducted into the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame; uncle, Chris Hembrough, played on Miami's 1984 national championship team; uncle, Mike Hembrough, played at Eastern Illinois and was drafted by Denver, and uncle, Doug Hembrough, was a three-year starter and team captain at Missouri and was inducted posthumously into the Springfield Sports Hall of Fame ... majored in Finance.
