After spending his freshman season (2019) at Liberty University, played his final three seasons (2020-22) at Louisville where he was a two-time All-ACC selection and started 28-of-31 games played and recorded 127 tackles, five INTs (one returned for a TD), 28 passes defensed, 9.5 tackles for loss, a sack and two fumble recoveries (one returned for a TD) … including his time at Liberty, Clark finished his college career with 167 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, five INTs, 33 passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.
2022: Started all 12 games and had a career-high 51 tackles, his first career sack, an INT, five passes defensed, four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery … scored TDs on both takeaways in 2022; he had his first college TD on a 59-yard fumble return vs. Pittsburgh … the following week vs. Wake Forest, he returned an INT 46 yards for a TD.
2021: Started all eight games played and earned second-team All-ACC accolades after finishing the season with 40 tackles, three INTs and a team-high 12 passes defensed before a season-ending knee injury … also credited with 3.5 tackles for loss … was playing one of the best games of his career @ NC State (10/30) with five tackles and a career-high four passes defensed when he suffered the injury … had a career-high two INTs with two tackles for loss against Eastern Kentucky (9/22).
2020: Started eight of 10 games played in his first season at Louisville, earning second team All-ACC honors after closing the year with 36 tackles and tying for 12th nationally and second in the ACC with 11 passes defended ... also added two tackles for loss, an INT and a fumble recovery … had a hand in two of Louisville's three turnovers forced in the first half against Syracuse (11/20), picking off his first career pass in the second half and then recovering a fumble on a kickoff later in the quarter … had multiple passes defensed in a game four times, including three straight outings in Games 3-5.
2019: Played in 13 games with seven starts as a freshman at Liberty, totaling 40 tackles, five passes defensed, a sack and four tackles for loss … his six passes defensed ranked second on the team.
Attended Manchester (Midlothian, VA) High School where he earned first-team all-state honors as a punt return specialist, second-team all-state honors as a defensive back and all-region honors in both … finished his prep career with eight INTs … as a senior in 2018, helped Manchester – rated by MaxPreps as one of the top-50 ranked schools in the nation – to a VHSL 6A state title … ranked as the #2 punt returner in the country by MaxPreps that year, he totaled 575 punt return yards (28.6 avg.) and added 126 kickoff return yards … graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications in the Spring of 2023.
