Kyler And Receivers Work Out In California Again

QB posts on social media about the passing 'camp'

Kyler Murray wasn't exactly verbose during minicamp week when he was asked if there was a plan for he to get together with all his receivers/pass catchers during the dead time of the offseason before training camp to work on throwing together.

All the QB said was "looking forward to it." No details, although it sounded like commitment.

Then Kyler released on social media this week footage from the work, although after doing it at UCLA last year, it was at USC this year in southern California. While the video focused on Murray, Marvin Harrison Jr., Trey McBride and Elijah Higgins were among the players that could be seen in the clips.

A source called it "the same type of deal" the group did last year. Whether that means the mansion and all the perks that went along with the workouts, we'll have to wait and see when players can be asked about it in a couple weeks when training camp begins (Report day is July 22; the first practice is July 23.)

A QB getting together with his skill guys isn't unique to the Cardinals by any stretch, and in fact it seems almost necessary in this day and age. There were not a lot of personnel changes in that group, so the improvement Murray and his pass catchers want to make will be incumbent on ratcheting up performance instead of adding new pieces. The more chemistry that can be sourced with work like this can only help.
