Reports: Potential Trade Of DeAndre Hopkins For David Johnson

While business around the NFL has been impacted by the coronavirus, it doesn't mean business has stopped, including with the Cardinals. They placed the transition tag on running back Kenyan Drake. And then later Monday morning, multiple reports -- including ones from NFL Network and ESPN -- noted the Cards are expected to trade running back David Johnson to the Houston Texans for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The reports say draft picks would be involved.

Other than with signings of your own players, no moves -- trades or free-agent signings -- can be official until Wednesday at 1 p.m. Arizona time.

General Manager Steve Keim has talked many times about building the offense around quarterback Kyler Murray, and making sure the Cardinals take advantage of Murray's rookie contract to bolster the rest of the roster.
