Another name pops up in Cardinals' coaching search

The Cardinals' coaching search remains in high gear, with the report that former Colts and Lions boss Jim Caldwell was interviewed for the job Thursday. Caldwell's talk followed one with Adam Gase Wednesday, with the reported line of interviews going to Rams QB coach Zac Taylor and Saints assistant head coach Dan Campbell this weekend. The name Kliff Kingsbury is still out there, but there has not been any reported interview set up.

What is most interesting about Gase and Caldwell, besides the fact they have NFL head coaching experience (the other three do not, unless you count Campbell's 12-game interim stint in Miami) is that neither has a job right now. Both Taylor and Campbell are in the playoffs and could not be hired until after their respective teams were eliminated. (Kingsbury, as a college coach, also would have the freedom to leave now.)

The process -- and wait -- continues.
