SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Last time out: 49ers 15, Bears 14

Record: 2-10 overall, 0-5 in division

Snapshot: San Francisco kicker Robbie Gould hit a 24-yard field goal with four seconds remaining to lift the 49ers to their second victory of the season. Gould accounted for all of the 49ers' points by connecting on five field goals against his former team.

Notable: Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo made his long-anticipated starting debut for San Francisco, finishing the game 26-of-37 passing for 293 yards and an interception. While the numbers weren't overwhelming, he played a solid game and has brought a measure of excitement to a team near the bottom of the standings.

Quotable: "I tried to say all week that it's just a normal game. Obviously I've never come back to Chicago like this, so it's exciting. I had a ton of people here today. It was one of the more fun games I've been a part of." – Garoppolo, via 49ers.com, on his first start for the team in the city where he grew up.

Key Stat:147. The total yards the Bears mustered in the loss.

Next up: The 49ers travel to play the Texans in Week 14.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Last time out: Seahawks 24, Eagles 10

Record: 8-4 overall, 4-0 in division

Snapshot: Russell Wilson was 20-of-31 for 227 yards and three touchdowns as Seattle secured a critical home win over powerful Philadelphia. The Eagles entered as a rare road favorite at CenturyLink Field but the Seahawks jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and held steady.

Notable: Seattle defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson forced Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz to lose a fumble at the 1-yard-line early in the third quarter, and the ball went out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback. A touchdown would have tied the game at 10. The Eagles entered the game as the highest-scoring team in the NFL and racked up 425 yards of total offense but couldn't consistently put points on the board.

Quotable: "I felt like everybody was sleeping on us and nobody expected us to win this game. But we expected to win this game. This is not a surprise to us." – Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner.

Key Stat:Seven. The number of trips into Seattle territory for the Eagles, which resulted in only 10 points.

Next up: The Seahawks travel to face the Jaguars in Week 14.
