Rams running back Todd Gurley had a huge day in a blowout win over the Seahawks.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Snapshot: Robbie Gould hit a 45-yard field goal as time expired to lift the 49ers to their third consecutive victory. Gould connected on six field goals in the game and has made 20 in a row. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for a career-high 381 yards and a touchdown.

Notable: The 49ers are now 3-0 in games started by Garoppolo. Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin had 10 catches for 114 yards. The lead changed hands three times in the final 3:08 of the contest.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Last time out: Rams 42, Seahawks 7

Record: 8-6 overall, 4-1 in division

Snapshot: A defense missing several key pieces was picked apart by the Rams, who led 34-0 at the half. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson finished the game 14-of-30 for 142 yards and a touchdown and was sacked seven times. The Seahawks mustered only 149 yards of total offense.

Notable: The Seahawks would have been in the driver's seat for another NFC West title with the win, but now have long odds to make the postseason.  This was the worst loss in the Pete Carroll era with the Seahawks.

Quotable: "To be totally honest, I think the guys that played, you've got to give your hats off to (linebacker Bobby Wagner) and a couple guys that played. But my personal opinion, I don't think they should have played. The backups would have did just as good. The injuries, Kam (Chancellor), (Richard) Sherman, K.J. Injury Update: Wagner left the game in the third quarter due to the hamstring strain.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

Record: 10-4 overall, 4-1 in division

Snapshot: Running back Todd Gurley had 152 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns in less than three quarters of work as the Rams made a resounding statement in Seattle. The 34-point halftime lead was the largest on the road for the Rams in franchise history.

Notable: Los Angeles can clinch the division title with a win or a Seahawks loss over the final two weeks. Defensive tackle Aaron Donald had three sacks to lead a dominant defensive performance. Pharoh Cooper averaged 18.3 yards per punt return, including a 53-yarder which set up an early touchdown.

Quotable: "It's nice handing the ball off and just going 'Oh, there he goes again,' and it seems to happen more often than not," Rams quarterback Jared Goff on his backfield mate, Gurley.

Injury Update: Linebacker Mark Barron left the game in the first quarter with a knee injury, but it's not expected to shelve him for an extended period.
