The Cardinals released quarterbacks Brandon Doughty (6) and Alek Torgersen (5) Monday.
The Cardinals' quarterback room changed drastically on draft weekend, when the Cardinals were able to select Josh Rosen in the first round.
And after adding Princeton quarterback Chad Kanoff as an undrafted rookie, changes were inevitably coming on the roster – which came Monday, as the Cardinals released the two quarterbacks they had recently picked up off of waivers, Brandon Doughty and Alek Torgersen.
Doughty and Torgersen were both added April 5, after being released by the Dolphins and Lions, respectively.
The Cardinals now stand at 92 on the roster – the undrafted rookies don't officially count until they sign their contracts later this week – and need to get to 90.
The Cardinals' quarterback room still has Sam Bradford atop the depth chart, with fellow veteran Mike Glennon being joined by Rosen and Kanoff. Both Rosen and Kanoff will get their first chance to be on the field this weekend when the Cardinals hold their rookie minicamp starting Friday.
