Defensive end Chandler Jones, quarterback Sam Bradford and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald were among the seven captains named by the Cardinals for the 2018 season.

The players voted, and then coach Steve Wilks announced who the team captains would be for the 2018 season. There were seven named altogether:

-- WR Larry Fitzgerald

-- QB Sam Bradford

-- CB Patrick Peterson

-- S Antoine Bethea

-- DE Chandler Jones

-- DT Corey Peters

-- K Phil Dawson

"Very proud of them," Wilks said. "They were picked and chosen by their peers. The coaches didn't have anything to do with it. It goes to show you what their teammates think of them."

Three players repeat as captains, with Fitzgerald, Peterson and Dawson. Bradford is in his first season with the team. It's the first time as captains in the careers of Peters and Jones. Bethea had previously been a captain with the 49ers, while Bradford had been captain with the Rams.
