The Cardinals finally have London calling.

With the NFL holding an all-time high of four games to London, England in 2017, the Cards are one of eight teams who will play there next season. The Los Angeles Rams will give up a home game in order to "host" the Cardinals for the matchup.

The teams will play at London's Twickenham Stadium, which opened in 1909 and is home to England Rugby. The Rams played there this season against the Giants in the first-ever non-rugby event there.

The game will be played either on Oct. 22 or Oct. 29. Ticket availability will be announced at a later date (Click here for current ticket information.)

"In 2014, I attended the Raiders-Dolphins game at Wembley Stadium and experienced first-hand the incredible enthusiasm U.K. fans have for the NFL," Cardinals president Michael Bidwill said in a statement. "I also encountered a huge number of Cardinals fans asking when our team would be playing there. I know this is great news for them as well as the U.S. members of the Red Sea who couldn't have a cooler destination to see a road game. We're looking forward to seeing them all there next fall."

The Vikings will play the Browns at Twickenham as well. London's Wembley Stadium will host Saints-Dolphins and Ravens-Jaguars.

It will be the second time the Cardinals will have played a regular-season game outside of the United States. In 2005, the team hosted the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City, beating the 49ers, 31-14, in front of a then-record NFL crowd of 103,467.

This isn't the first time the Cardinals have played in England, however. In 1983 the Cardinals played a preseason game against the Vikings at Wembley Stadium, the NFL's first game in England. The Cardinals also played the NFL's first game outside North America when they played the San Diego Chargers in Tokyo in 1976.
