Cardinals vs. Raiders

1st Quarter
Raiders win coin toss, elect to receive.
Neil Rackers' kickoff sails four yard deep in end zone for a touchback. Oakland's first possession begins at its own 20-yard line. Jamarcus Russell pressured out of pocket on first down, passes to Zach Miller for gain of five, then passes over the middle to Miller again, this time for 11 yards and a first down at the 36-yard line. Russell again passes complete this time to Walker for 14 yards. Russell passes to Drew Carter over the middle for seven yards. Carter injured on the play. On second-and-3 at the Arizona 43-yard line. Cards flagged for encroachment, five-yard penalty results in a first down at the 38. Russell sacked by linebacker Clark Haggans for eight yards, setting up second-and-18. Russell pressured again, passes incomplete. Now third-and-18, Russell throws left to Higgins along the sideline for 10 yards and on fourth-and-10, Russell's pass over the middle nearly intercepted by Karlos Dansby, Oakland stopped on downs. Cardinals' first possession of the game begins at their 36, 11:15 to play in the opening period. Matt Leinart at quarterback. Handoff goes to Edgerrin James up the middle for two yards, then Leinart throws deep down right sideline for Larry Fitzgerald, intercepted by Michael Huff at the 18-yard line.
Oakland takes possession at its own 11, 10:23 on the clock. Justin Fargas runs off right tackle for three yards, then on second down Russell passes to Darren McFadden in the right flat, loses the ball, and Gerald Hayes recovers the ball at the nine-yard line and runs into the end zone. Raiders challenge the call that McFadden did not have possession, and call is reversed, McFadden did not have possession. Now third-and-7 at the 14, Russell quick slant left to Javon Walker, good for 13 yards and a first down at the 27-yard line. Russell rolls right, but pass intended for Ronald Curry intercepted by Karlos Dansby at the 46, returned to the 39-yard line.
Cardinals' ball first-and-10 at their own 46-yard line, 9:34 to play in the first quarter. Raiders called for neutral zone infraction, five-yard penalty results in first-and-5. Leinart's pass deep left to Tim Castille overthrown, then James runs left for six yards and a first down at the Oakland 36. Third-and-3, Leinart quick slant to Boldin right, goes for 15 and a first down at the 36. James runs left for seven. First-and-goal at the nine, James again, hit near the line of scrimmage for one yard, then passes left to Fitzgerald, who is stopped for two-yard gain. Third-and-goal at the seven, Leinart's pass deflected and incomplete. Rackers on for a 25-yard field goal attempt, splits the uprights and Cards take 3-0 lead with 5:10 remaining. Scoring drive was 11 plays, 47 yards, 3:48 time of possession.
Rackers' kickoff is a 'pooch' kick, but Cardinals called for offsides. Rackers now kicks off from his 25-yard line, taken by Higgins at the one, returns 31 yards. Oakland takes over first-and-10 at the 32, 4:17 left in the first period. McFadden runs for two yards, then Russell complete to Griffin for five. Oakland in hurry-up offense, Russell passes incomplete. Fourth-and-three, Steve Breaston returns from 22 to the 36.
Cardinals take over first-and-10 at the 34, 3:03 on the clock. Cardinals penalized for holding, now first-and-20 at the 24. Leinart passes incomplete over the middle intended for Leonard Pope, and on second-and-20 Leinart finds no receiver open, tucks the ball and runs for two yards. Third-and-19 from the 25, Leinart throws short intended for Breaston. Dirk Johnson to punt on fourth down, ball rolls out at the 32, a punt of 42 yards.
Raiders take over first-and-10 at their 32, 1:16 left. McFadden runs left, but Oakland flagged for holding. On first-and-10, McFadden finds two yards, and then Russell again pressured, rolls left, throws incomplete. Third-and-17, McFadden goes for seven as the first quarter ends.

2nd Quarter
Raiders punt 52 yards on fourth down, taken by Lance Long at the 18 where he is dropped.
Cardinals now first-and-10 at their 18, 14:50 left in the first half. Leinart passes over the middle short to Castille for five yards, and on second down Tim Hightower runs for three yards off left guard. Third-and-2 at the 26, Leinart steps up the pocket, connects with Castille in right flat for four yards and a first down at the 30. Hightower takes handoff on draw, stopped after gain of one. Leinart pressured, nearly sacked, but squirts loose and throws incomplete. False start call on Arizona declined, now third-and-9 at the 31. Cardinals call first timeout, 12:01 left in the half. On third-and-9 at the 31, Leinart scrambles right, pass intercepted by Routt, returns 17 yards to the 26.
Oakland first-and-10 at the 26, 11:45 on the clock. Raiders flagged for illegal formation, penalty declined after Russell throws incomplete. Second-and-10, Russell complete middle to McFadden for two yards, good stop by Hayes. Third-and-5, Russell nearly sacked, shakes off Haggans, runs for 12 yards. But Oakland penalty, again an illegal formation, results in third-and-10. Raiders call first timeout, 10:17 left in the second quarter. Now third-and-15 at the 26, Russell complete to Ronald Curry for 16 yards and a first down at the 10. Russell again back to pass, runs for one yard, then passes incomplete to Curry. On third-and-goal at the nine, Russell has time and passes deep right corner to Miller in end zone incomplete. Raiders challenge the call that Miller managed to get his knee inbounds, but replay confirms incomplete pass. Aaron Elling on for 27-yard field goal, but Cards called for encroachment. Now on fourth-and-goal from the four, Raiders offense back on the field, Russell rolls right but passes incomplete in end zone.
Cardinals take possession first-and-10 at their five-yard line, 8:43 left in the first half. Hightower met the line of scrimmage and loses the ball, recovered by Cards at the four. Leinart back to pass from his own end zone, pass intended for Anquan Boldin intercepted by Baker at the 30, returns 11 yards to the 19.
Raiders first-and-10 at the 19, just under eight minutes left. McFadden runs for eight yards, then tries the right side again for one. Third-and-two at the 11, Michael Bush up the middle for two yards and a first down at the eight. First-and-goal, McFadden met by Adrian Wilson and Darnell Dockett for no gain, then on second down McFadden sweep left goes nowhere. Third-and-goal, Russell under pressure and throws out back of end zone incomplete. Elling on for 27-yard field goal, ball hits right upright no good.
Cardinals take over first-and-10 at their 20, 4:20 left in the half. Kurt Warner in at quarterback for Cardinals. Hightower runs for five yards, then Warner complete to Boldin for 15 yards and a first down at the 40. Clock ticking with 3:30 left. Hightower again on the carry, good for five yards, and then on a delay draw play runs for six and a first down to the Oakland 49 at the two-minute warning. Warner incomplete quick slant to Fitzgerald, then dump-off to Boldin middle falls incomplete. Now third-and-10 at the 49, Warner dragged down for loss of two. Raiders call third time out. Fourth-and-12, Higgins fields Johnson's punt at the 12, returns eight yards to the 19. Russell complete middle to Walker for 27 yards to the 46, clock ticking with less than a minute left. Russell passes to McFadden for two yards. Cards then called for offsides, now second-and-3 at the 38. Russell passes incomplete to McFadden, and Raiders called for holding. The 10-yard penalty pushes the ball back to the 43, second-and-13. Russell dumps ball off to Higgins, Wilson makes big hit after gain of two. On third down, 24 seconds left to play, Russell sacked by Dockett for loss of 13, Dockett recovers fumble as first half comes to an end.

3rd Quarter
Oakland's Elling kicks off the begin the second half, Breaston takes the ball at the six-yard line and returns to the 33, a 25-yard return. Cardinals first-and-10 at their 32. Warner at quarterback. Pitch to Hightower, who is snowed under for no gain, but Raiders called for facemask penalty. Now first-and-10 at the 41, first-and-15 at the 36 after delay of game on Arizona. Warner passes to wide-open Boldin deep right side, good for 24 yards. First-and-10 at the Oakland 40, Hightower runs left, sidesteps a defender, finally dragged down after gain of 23. Ball on the Oakland 19-yard line. Hightower again runs left, this time for six yards to the 13. Hightower again, this time on delay draw, runs up the middle for 13 yards to the end zone. Rackers adds the extra point, and Cards lead 10-0, 12:02 left in the third quarter. Drive was four plays, 68 yards, 2:58 time of possession.
Rackers' kickoff taken by Higgins at the three, returns left 28 yards. Oakland takes over first-and-10 at the 31, 11:55 on the clock. Russell still at quarterback for the Raiders, and passes to Walker for six yards, then passes incomplete. On third-and-four, Russell slips and sacked for loss of nine. On fourth-and-13 at the 28, Lance Long fields Pakulak's punt at the 30, loses one on the return. J.J. Arrington runs for four yards on first down. Arrington again on second down, runs wide right, cuts back toward middle of field, finds the end zone for 67-yard touchdown. Rackers' extra point pushes Cards up to 17-0 with 10:07 left in third quarter. Drive was two plays, 71 yards, 33 seconds time of possession.
Rackers' kickoff to the goal line taken by Higgins, returns 29 yards. Oakland first-and-10 at the 29, 10:00 to play in the quarter. McFadden goes off right tackle for three yards on first down, then stopped for no gain on second down. Third-and-7, Russell complete to Todd Watkins for 17 yards and a first down at the 49. Russell play-action, passes too high incomplete. On second down, McFadden takes draw for eight yards, and converts third-and-two runs for eight yards and a first down at the Arizona 37 with seven minutes to play. Russell back to pass, sacked by Monty Beisel for 10 yards. McFadden carries left for three yards on second down, and on third-and-16 at the 44, Russell overthrows deep right incomplete. On fourth down, Pakulak's punt downed at the 12-yard line.
Arizona takes over first-and-10 at the 12, 5:25 remaining in the quarter. Brian St. Pierre at quarterback for the Cardinals. Steve Baylark carries left for three yards on first down, then St. Pierre rolls right, gains four. Now third-and-3 at the 19, St. Pierre passes over the middle to Jerheme Urban for gain of 22 to the 41-yard line. Baylark finds nothing on first down, then Chris Vincent takes the handoff and runs up the middle for 25 yards to the Raider 34. Vincent again, no gain. On second down, St Pierre passes incomplete deep right sideline. Third-and-10 at the 34, St. Pierre short toss to Castille, runs for gain of 13 to the Raider 21. Vincent runs left and third quarter ends.

4th Quarter
Arizona second-and-seven at the 18, St. Pierre complete over the middle to Leonard Pope in the end zone for the touchdown. Rackers adds the extra point, Cards up lead to 24-0, 14:56 left to play. Drive was 10 plays, 88 yards, 5:29 time of possession.
Rackers' kickoff taken by Louis Rankin at the goal line, hit at the 22. Oakland first-and-10 at the 22, 14:50 to play. Bush gains two on first down, then Andrew Walter passes complete to Reece for four more. On third-and-four Walter incomplete left. Fourth-and-four at the 28, Pakulak's punt taken by Long at the 20, pushed out of bounds after nine-yard return. Punt traveled 54 yards.
Cardinals first-and-10 at their 27, 13:22 left in the game. Baylark runs left, loses five on first down, then St. Pierre connects with Castille for six yards to set up third-and-9. St. Pierre steps up in the pocket, passes complete left to Long for 18 yards and a first down at the 46. Vincent runs right for four, then dropped for loss of five on mix-up on the hand off. On third-and-11 at the 45, St. Pierre complete to Jamal Cornelius for 12 yards near the sideline and a first down at the Oakland 43 with 9:40 to play. Vincent again runs right, this time for eight yards, and on second down sweeps left for four more. First-and-10 at the 31, clock ticking with just over eight minutes left, Vincent goes for two yards, then Baylark takes a pitch from St. Pierre and pushed out of bounds after four-yard gain. Third-and-four, St. Pierre completes over the middle to Early Doucet, who makes nice diving catch for a first down at the 18. Baylark runs left for no gain, and on second down goes for eight. On third-and-two, St. Pierre stopped for no gain. Fourth-and-two, just over four minutes left, Baylark stopped short.
Raiders take over first-and-10 at the 10, 4:03 left to play. Bush loses one yard on first down, runs left again for no gain. Third-and-11, 3:00 left on the clock, Walter throws deep to Watkins, who dives for the catch but is unable to hold on. Pakulak punts from his own end zone 46 yards, fair catch by Long at the 44. Cards called for holding, 10-yard penalty pushes ball back to the 34.
Arizona's ball, first-and-10 at the 34, 2:38 remaining. Anthony Morelli now at quarterback for the Cardinals. Vincent goes up the middle for two yards, and Cards allow clock to tick down to the two-minute warning. Morelli passes incomplete to Doucet, then Baylark finds four yards up the middle short of first-down yardage. Cards called for delay of game. Johnson punts 48 yards to the 17, returned by Waddell 11 yards.
Oakland first-and-10 at their 28, 51 seconds to play. Bush runs for six, then Walter passes deep right incomplete. Nine seconds left to play. Third-and-four, Walter passes complete to Reece for 13 yards as the clock reaches 0:00.
