Carson Palmer gets his own "Football Life"

The Cardinals of late have had a host of people featured on the excellent NFL Films series "A Football Life." Aeneas Williams. Bruce Arians. Emmitt Smith. Larry Fitzgerald. Kurt Warner. Pat Tillman. Now you can add quarterback Carson Palmer.

The NFL Network announced its newest slate of episodes that will begin airing this season, and Palmer -- the one-time No. 1 overall draft pick who the Cardinals acquired for a late-round draft pick in 2013 when his career seemed to be dwindling down and he turned in some of the best QB performances in franchise history -- particularly his 2015 season, when the Cards reached the NFC Championship game.

Palmer's episode will originally air at 5 p.m. Sept. 14 on NFL Network. Former players like Lawrence Taylor, Tony Romo and Dwight Clark (who recently passed away) are among others with episodes this season.

Former quarterback Carson Palmer arrives at what would turn out to be his final NFL game, in London against the Rams last season.
