Jalen Davis won't be needed Sunday against the Steelers.
The cornerback, elevated Saturday from the practice squad because of injuries to Byron Murphy and Kevin Peterson, will be inactive -- because both Murphy (calf) and Peterson (shoulder) are active for the game. Both Murphy and Peterson had gotten hurt in practice this week, but they will be available along with Patrick Peterson and Chris Jones at the position.
Safety Jalen Thompson, who was in concussion protocol early last week, is playing, as is center A.Q. Shipley, who was sick Friday.
It turns out that the Cardinals' entire inactives list are healthy scratches. Every player listed as questionable Friday will be active.
