"Flight Plan" making second tour for Cardinals

"Cardinals Flight Plan," the behind-the-scenes look at the team's offseason journey, is returning.

The trailer dropped Thursday, and the series -- in which eight total episodes debut through early June -- begins Feb. 7. The series, which won an Emmy last year in its first go-round, will feature in the first episode (titled "Sudden Change") the search for and subsequent hiring of new coach Kliff Kingsbury.

The series will chronicle the Cardinals' offseason which will include free agency, the draft and the machinations behind the choice of the No. 1 overall pick, as well as Kingsbury's first work on the field with the players once OTAs begin. The dates for the eight episodes are as follows:

  1. Feb. 7
  2. Feb. 21
  3. March 14
  4. March 28
  5. April 18
  6. May 9
  7. May 23
  8. June 6

While the show is created for Facebook Watch -- the series had more than 14 million views a year ago -- it can be found on various platforms. Even if you do not have a Facebook account, you can watch on Facebook by going to www.facebook.com/cardinalsflightplan. It will also be posted on azcardinals.com as well as the team's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/azcardinals).

This year there will also be bonus content released in between episodes, so check out the team's social media channels for those release times (and I'll make note of it on the blog too.)
