Kyler Murray Gets In First Passes To A.J. Green

Quarterbacks posts work on social media

How much we actually see Kyler Murray and other veterans on the field this offseason is TBD, given the push from the NFLPA for players to not take part in what they see as unnecessary voluntary work. But via social media, we have seen some of the work the Cardinals' QB1 has been doing. He's in the gym. And via Murray's Instagram account, he's also getting in some work with new teammate A.J. Green.

Murray posted some video Tuesday throwing a pass to Green, the veteran wideout who signed with the team in March. (Green posted the same video on his IG.) As last offseason, when everyone waited to see when Murray and then-new teammate DeAndre Hopkins would get in their first in-person hookups, it's always good to see whatever early chemistry you can between QB and pass catcher.

Green is a crucial piece of the offense. The Cardinals need him to be a solid No. 2 to Hopkins and another option at outside receiver, allowing Christian Kirk to work in the slot and Rondale Moore to work wherever Kliff Kingsbury sees fit. It's going to be interesting to see how the offense unfolds when we get to training camp.
