Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson poses with fans at the initial "Monday Nights at the Big Red Brew Haus" event Monday.
The game was Sunday, but there was still a Cardinal at University of Phoenix Stadium Monday.
Patrick Peterson helped christen the initial "Monday Nights at the Big Red Brew Haus," inside the home of the Cardinals. "Monday Nights" will include a player appearance each week for an hour, when the player will appear on ABC-15 and talk with fans.
"Monday Nights at the Big Red Brew Haus" will be held weekly through the fall. Before daylight savings impacts the rest of the country, doors will open at 5 p.m. on Sept. 19 and 26 and Oct. 3, 10, and 24. Doors will open at 6 p.m. on Nov. 7, 14, 21, 28 and Dec. 5, 12, and 19.
The Big Red Brew Haus is also open on game days at University of Phoenix Stadium, with a traditional Brew Haus menu and TVs to enjoy NFL action.
The player attending on Mondays will not be announced until the Sunday before each event.
This week, it was Peterson.
"It's always great to get out and interact with the fans and I enjoyed the opportunity to be the first-ever guest," Peterson said. "I had never been to the Brew Haus before because obviously we are pretty busy on game days. But it's a great atmosphere and set-up for watching the Monday night game and I think fans will love it."
