Pass Rushers Chandler Jones, Markus Golden Getting Their Share Of Pro Bowl Votes

Cardinals tackle Kelvin Beachum, safety Budda Baker both 2nd in NFC

Chandler Jones got off to a hot start this season in Week 1, and with his two sacks in the Cardinals' most recent game in Seattle, the outside linebacker is making a prime push right in time for Pro Bowl voting.

So it's not a surprise, with his eight sacks this season and excellent career resume, that Jones remains as the fifth-leading vote getter among NFL outside linebackers, and second in the NFC only to former teammate Haason Reddick. Current teammate Markus Golden, who has a Cardinals-best 10 sacks, is sixth overall and third in the NFC as he seeks his first Pro Bowl berth.

The Cards still have eight players among the top 10 at their respective positions in the latest voting update, although a couple of players slipped in the standings after the Cardinals had their bye week. Aside from Jones and Golden:

-- strong safety Budda Baker is fourth overall and second in the NFC;

-- right tackle Kelvin Beachum remains the highest-ranking Cardinal (second in both overall and NFC);

-- center Rodney Hudson (8th, 5th)

-- inside linebacker Isaiah Simmons (10th, 8th)

-- quarterback Kyler Murray (8th, 4th)

-- cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. (8th, 5th)

Pro Bowl voting, which can be done here, runs through Dec. 16. The Pro Bowl itself will be played in Las Vegas on Feb. 6. Rosters are selected with a combination of votes from fans, coaches and players, all of which count as a third of the tally.
