In an interview on 98.7, Arizona's Sports Station Thursday morning, head coach Steve Wilks revealed that wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will return for the 2018 season. Fitzgerald will enter his 15th NFL season needing 92 receptions and 390 receiving yards to be in second place all-time on both lists. He has recorded 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards each of the last three seasons. See below for the social media reaction to the news that Fitzgerald is returning:

Next season could be a historic one for Larry Fitzgerald. He needs 390 receiving yards to pass Terrell Owens for the NFL’s second most all-time receiving yards, and 93 catches to pass Tony Gonzalez for second most all-time receptions.

He is 1 of 2 players with 100+ catches in each of the last three seasons (Antonio Brown)
No player has ever had 100+ receptions in a season at age 35-or-older@AZCardinals@LarryFitzgerald
