Two Reported Potential Interviews With Head Coaching Experience

Cardinals expected to talk to Morris, Nagy

On top of the five names that emerged as possible head coaching interviews for the Cardinals on Monday, two more were reported on Tuesday: ex-Falcons head coach Raheem Morris and Chiefs OC Matt Nagy.

Morris is reportedly already scheduled. He has been a head coach with both the Falcons and the Buccaneers. Nagy was head coach of the Chicago Bears. Two of the previous names reported, Vance Joseph and Robert Saleh, are the other names with NFL head coaching experience.

The NFL currently has seven vacant head-coaching spots.

NFL rules have been changed to help make it better for candidates who are still working in the playoffs, slowing the process a bit. With that in mind, a look at the dates in which the Cardinals named their last four head coaches:

  • Jonathan Gannon, Feb. 14
  • Kliff Kingsbury, Jan. 8
  • Steve Wilks, Jan. 22
  • Bruce Arians, Jan 17
