The hits to the Cardinals running back room keep on coming as the team announced Bam Knight will be placed on Injured Reserve. Also going on Injured Reserve is Andre Baccellia.

That'll end both of their seasons. To fill one of the active roster spots, the Cardinals signed Jalen Brooks from the practice squad to the active roster. They also re-signed safety Patrick McMorris to the practice squad, signed offensive tackle Marques Cox and released offensive lineman Trey Wedig.

To begin the season the Cardinals had four running backs on the active roster. Since then, each has missed multiple games with James Conner and Trey Benson on season-ending Injured Reserve. Emari Demercado has missed four games this season due to injury. Knight, who exited Sunday's game with an ankle sprain, will be shut down for the season.

The team will now rely on Michael Carter, who had a decent game in place of Knight, rushing for 54 yards on 14 carries, while also assisting as a pass blocking back.

Baccellia was carted off and sent to the hospital following a scary collision on a kick return. While he was healthy enough to fly back with the team, the injury was severe enough to end his year. Like the running back room, the wide receiver room continues to face its share of injuries. With Zay Jones and Simi Fehoko on Injured Reserve, to go along with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Xavier Weaver nursing lingering injuries, the depth has been tested.

With Brooks joining the active roster, Michael Wilson is the only healthy wide receiver on the 53-man roster.
