The Cardinals are going to need some reinforcements with their rash of injuries, and they got started on that Tuesday.

The team brought back veteran defensive lineman Zach Kerr to the roster, with Rashard Lawrence and J.J. Watt on injured reserve among a handful of moves. The Cards also promoted offensive lineman Marcus Henry to the roster with Justin Pugh and Max Garcia hurting.

With wide receiver A.J. Green and tight end Demetrius Harris still on the Covid list, the team already made the move to elevate linebacker Joe Walker and offensive lineman Danny Isidora as Covid replacements for the Panthers game. If Green or Harris come off the Covid list, those players would have to move back to the practice squad.

The Cardinals also re-signed offensive lineman Koda Martin to the practice squad.

Kerr played 12 games for the Cardinals in Kliff Kingsbury's first season in 2019.

The first injury report of the week comes Wednesday. The Cardinals have switched their media availability to Zoom on Wednesday, indicating a decision to not hold a normal practice.
