The Cardinals also added another new piece to the roster with a thought to the offseason, claiming inside linebacker Austin Keys off waivers after he was released by the Minnesota Vikings.
Rookie safety Kitan Crawford, already ruled out for the finale, was put on IR with an ankle injury. The Cardinals cut offensive lineman Tyler Cooper from the practice squad.
Keys, an undrafted rookie, is under contract through 2027. In 11 games for the Vikings, he played only eight defensive snaps -- recording a sack -- and 191 snaps on special teams.
Starting inside linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. has been out since midseason with a ribs injury. Rookie Cody Simon and Akeem Davis Gaither have been in the lineup, while Owen Pappoe is the depth.
