2017: Started all 13 games, earning honorable-mention All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and media after totaling a career-high 45 tackles, his first career sack, two tackles for loss, his first two career forced fumbles and leading the team with 12 total passes defensed (11 passes defensed, 1 INT) … earned the Quarterback Club Award at the annual team banquet, the award for seniors whom deserve special recognition ... had at least one pass defensed in seven-straight games … finished ranked tied for No. 8 in the Big Ten in passes defended per game (1.0).
